Help Me To Stay Saved..." is a book written especially for Christians.
So many of God's people in the body deal with so many issues and they don't
feel sufficiently equipped so they "adapt" in their own way. Well
this book is a simple book that will give you the tools you need, as a child
of God, to press through life's problems while maintaining a testimony that
will glorify the Holy God we serve. No one said salvation would be easy,
but it's easier if you're equipped.
I thank God for planting me in a church (body of believers) who love the Lord and Pastors who truly have a heart to please God & for God's people. It in no way replaces the Bible...this is always your First tool, but it does help to get you on the right path. It is my prayer that after reading this book, your desire is to Be Truly Saved!

If I had to say how this book came about I would have to say it is because of the things that have transpired in my life; mainly my failed marriage. Even at a young age I went through so many things and I knew I had a story to tell…from abandonment, child abuse (both physical and emotional) and even sexual abuse…but I knew the Lord was not through with me yet. I know the things that I went through as a child influenced the way I handled things in my first marriage.
When I first started the book I was very angry (as I share in the book) because of the failed marriage and I could "hear" it in the book as I went back and reread it. The book was finished before I gave my life to Christ but it wasn't until after I had given my life to Him that I realized this shouldn't be a book all about hurt and anger but it should be a book about joy and forgiveness as well. As I went back and read the book I realized I wrote this book from an aching and hard heart but that isn't who I am…so I reworked the book and it's what you see today; a testimony of the life I lived and the victory that resulted making me stronger in the process. Though I am not proud of the things that I did along the JOURNEY of my life this was me…then. I've since learned that every action has a consequence, whether good or bad. I thank God for His grace that I didn't die in the midst of some of my "crazy actions".
The foundation for this book is Revelations 12:11, "They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the Word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death." Sitting in church one day as my Pastor preached, the Word of the Lord came to me, "Tell your testimony." and I felt that was the confirmation that this is something the Lord wanted me to release.
My hope is that the book walks that woman through the life that I lived…all the sin, anger, fear and despair but let them know that in the end…God is still in charge. When you give it to Him (your life) things are better. Now, that doesn't mean that you won't have trials, you will, but its so much easier when you have His help!
